Indian Credit Point To ECTS Point Converter
Take Note: There is no direct formula to do it. The converter here is very basic as well, however it maybe used for immediate conversion.
This is a general converter and is provided with no guarantee whatsoever and should be used at one’s own risk. This tool lets a user convert Indian credit points to ECTS points in seconds. This lets any user convert their credit points earned in an Indian credit point grading system in any Indian university to ECTS scale. Give it a try. That’s true. A 3 year degree isn’t even considered as a degree. B.Sc is not eligible for any course abroad. You can do an M.Sc in India and then maybe try abroad.

Well, GPA wise it’s quite less. Once you get in a good university, jobs aren’t really a problem. However, a GPA of 2 or below is cosidered acceptable in most of the cases. With so less GPA you may get in some obscure college in some isolated location and chances of getting job will be 0 assuming you will have problem with the new language already. But do apply in all places and fingers crossed 🙂

ECTS is quite complicated and there is no simple formula per se to convert it into CGPA. Maybe you can try the web prescribed method by making an excel sheet and so on.

I being an Indian don’t know that the scenario is like this in DU, PU etc. how can you expect foreigners to know the same? They get students from all over the world from 100s of countries meaning 1000s of universities! Also, GPA is just one factor, you need proper SOP, LOR etc. as well! Why speculate, just apply and let’s hope for the best! I am no expert either way, all I know is the students I meet and greet everyday have very high marks and a really envy worthy résumé.

If you mean ETH Zurich then no, definitely not. They look for student’s with exceptionally high caliber and you are way behind it. Also colleges like that don’t just take students with a good grade, you need to prove to them that you are beyond your grade. Your grades are not even suitable for tier-2 colleges. Maybe try tier-3.
10th and 12 doesn’t matter at all. No ones going to ask you that, anywhere.

So not taking in account that your btech marks is below average, why would you even like to do an MBA here? You have no German proficiency, you will have a hard time selling stuff to people. You don’t know any of the other major European languages either, like French etc. So I can say with fair certainty that you will have a degree and nothing else! Try for any private MBA college in India, you will have a better chance of em[employment.

Most of the time they have never ever left the country and are mostly armchair champions or cheap consultants who are after you money and would tell you any lie to get that. Don’t fall prey to the same. Even if job experience helps, your graduation marks is certainly going to pull you back, because in Europe passing marks is 50% and with your score, you have just barely passed the subject. So rest assured, all good colleges are beyond your scope. And whats left, it’s better to study in your home country as you will have a familiar environment and null culture shock. Don’t fall prey to the fallacy that most India to abroad students have fallen for. Don’t study here for the sake of studying or telling your neighbors! Only study if there is something to be achieved!

IGNOU or distance learning stuff may not even be considered as a valid degree. Your ECTS is 3.05 which is extremely low. Please do another proper M.Com with high grades and then apply!

Firstly, in Academia, work experience doesn’t matter! 120 ECTS means the score total of all the credits. In other words say you have studies 5 subjects in your graduation, so your total is 500 marks, that in Europe would be 120 ECTS as they attach a credit value to every passed subject. Don’t panic over ECTS conversion, all colleges here, in Scandinavia etc. accept normal Indian mark-sheets as well! What you should definitely be considerate about is that with a B.Com degree you won’t get any job here (you neither speak the local language, nor is an Indian B.Com, M.Com degree is widely accepted), so do you have the funding for at-least 3 years of stay in Europe? In Germany, that would be approx ~Rs.2400000. If this is sorted, your grade cards won’t be a problem as most college will accept them as is!

Germany may not even consider the Indian Diploma as a degree. Your B.Tech score is average, you may get in some colleges, but chances maybe thin in top-tier colleges.

Neither B.Sc nor MCA will be considered as a degree, as both have less that 3 years of academic course work. MCA in general is just a certification course, even in India. Imagine your chances, considering thousands of B.Tech students apply every year. I would strongly suggest you to get an M.Sc then apply for an M.S. degree. Once you have an admission and a funding of ~Rs.1600000 (for your expenses for 2 years in Europe), we can talk about jobs here. Best of luck!

Hmm, honestly if it’s 3 years or less you must ask the admissions office about it as they don’t generally accept it. However, as B.Sc + MCA is ~6 years they can accept it as qualifying criteria for M.S., however, you must, I once again repeat, ask the Master’s office of the specific university. MCA is quite an offbeat course and many universities may choose not to recognize it. Marks wise, they are extremely mediocre, considering the pass marks generally is considered as a 50% here in Europe. With these marks you might have a really hard time finding prudent admission offers, but then again, try and best of luck!

Your undergraduate score is severely low. You will have a hard time getting in any university, leave alone good. Also chances of getting job in Norway (assuming you can actually afford the education!) will be next to nothing due to lack of you language (Norwegian as well as English) skills! Try US private colleges, there you may have a good chance.

Hey there, I’m currently pursuing Chemical Engineering and I’m in 2nd year. My CGPA till now is 7.5 and the passing CG is 4.0. So here it converts to 2.25 (good).

Don’t go even if you get one! If you have the money, go to USA or UK. Job, social acceptability etc. is much better, not to mention future prospects!

The point of 210 ECTS require ment means you need to do a certain number of subjects that sums up to 210. Mines is a basic grade calculator that gives you a per subject ECTS value!

BCA is just a certificate course and not a degree course. Unless you have an MCA or a B.Tech, your degree is as good as useless. Also, with such low grades in BCA, not to mention the math-less syllabus, you won’t succeed in any course here. Look elsewhere.

An admission to the German university is not guaranteed by grades alone. Do you have any published papaer? What about recommendation letter? What of your TOEFL Cutoff? Mathematics grades? Those will also factor in.

Hi, gpa is just one of the many facets that a college will look for in a perspective student. Make sure you have a very strong SOP, LOR etc. as your gpa is quite average.

Well does your college allow a BBM as a UG subject? Generally, German universities don’t allow a UG course <= 3 years. Also, as for the conversion, mention that your college doesn't provide an official ECTS conversion, they will accept.

If that is the case, you should directly apply for a job and not for a degree, in which case your academics don’t matter.

10 through 12 doesn’t matter. They might not accept anything less than 4 semesters. Also, what is the employability of the degree? Have fellow Indians studied the same before? Have they got jobs? Don’t join a degree for the sake of travelling abroad and telling it to your friends, join if and only if it has economic and financial potential. Realize that you don’t speak any European language (German, French etc.), your chances of succeeding at a job may be infinitesimally low. So do the cost-benefit analysis and only then apply for a position.
